Worlds Within Worlds

Worlds within worlds: infinity aflame…
The encompassing silence of a pine forest
Awakened out of deepest slumber
By the welcoming winds of an autumn day…

The winds’ rapture, nocturne above
A high crest of land overlooking forested depths,
Wondrous  landscape, windsong touched
Echoes and sighs…

The memories, trees bend and flow
In the cold fall airs…
The forest floor undulating with rust coloured grasses,
Fallen leaves, the harp song wind in branch and bough…

Melodies: worlds within worlds, wind’s draft and blaze
Golden mists and flame light
Autumn songs in a dying passage, season to season…

Sensual waves, the sunlight filtering down
Through dusky treetops
Song of the trees moving with the caressing winds
Autumn lights and twilights surrendering
To the fading day…

Autumn starry nights, dawn lights, autumn’s last glory:
Promises of a winter’s peace
Promises of a winter’s rest.
