Ian Prattis, Zen teacher, anthropology Professor Emeritus, peace and environmental activist, was born in the UK. He has spent much of his life living and teaching in Canada. Ian is also an award winning author of eighteen books. He describes himself as “A Poet, Global Traveler, Founder of Friends for Peace, Guru in India, Spiritual Warrior for planetary care, peace and social justice.” Zen teacher since 1997, Ian offers public talks and retreats all over the world. Ian lives in Ottawa, Canada and encourages people to find their true nature, so that humanity and the planet may be renewed.
